This is a 1930's western. The plot is that the Bad guy, Kent, kills the sheriff because he is about to bust him for cheating in a poker game where he won a lot of the town's cattle. Then he schemes to get the town drunk appointed sheriff so he won't have any more trouble. But he doesn't realize that the town drunk used to work for a famous lawman.(Page 11 of Calamity)
